Around Portsoy

The historic fishing village of Portsoy enjoys a pleasant location on the Moray Coast.  

Portsoy has a lovely sandy beach, natural outdoor pool for relaxing, and every year hosts the Portsoy boat festival. The village is perfectly situated for the many local golf courses, and also the “Whisky”, “Castle” and “Coastal” trails.

Portsoy is becoming increasingly well known as a venue for artists and tourists, who enjoy the walking opportunities on cliffs and beaches. Dolphins and other wildlife can often be seen in the sheltered waters of the Moray Firth.

The annual traditional Portsoy Boat Festival is held on the last weekend in June and draws boat lovers from all over the world.

The delightful beaches of Sandend and Cullen are only 5 minutes away.
